Heather Ritchie’s two decade career includes a series of increasingly senior leadership positions in global high-tech companies. Eight years ago, she started delivering communication workshops as part of an executive pledge to build Alcatel-Lucent’s pipeline of women leaders. The module is recognized as one of the most impactful sections of the program. To augment the workshops, she did a four year research project on how leaders will need to communicate in a world that is increasingly diverse, collaborative, and filled with intelligent machines. She’s interviewed CEOs, psychologists, academics, neuroscientists, an Olympic coach and AI experts to learn more. Heather is sought-out by organizations that understand the importance of upgrading their soft skills. She currently runs marketing strategy for Nokia and advises on the corporate diversity program. She calls Toronto home but has lived in California, Shanghai and Singapore. She is an audiobook junkie, avid swimmer and is impossible to find during the Toronto Film Festival.
