Heather Elizabeth Dodds, Ph.D. is a freelance XR Research and Design Consultant. Recently, Heather was the Chief Operating Officer at the Immersive Learning Research Network. She also taught one of the first college courses to incorporate the Meta Quest 2 headset. In the past two years, Heather has authored two book chapters, one on the use of the metaverse in STEM education and one for instructional designers guiding the use of the metaverse in higher education. She frequently publishes about the design and use of the metaverse and XR for learning via social media.
