Dakin Campbell is the chief finance correspondent for Insider, focused on profiles and investigations about Wall Street and Silicon Valley. He has written extensively about Goldman Sachs, initial public offerings, and how hustle culture has led to burnout in the finance industry.
His first book, “Going Public,” about the revolution in how technology shares are sold to the public, was published by Twelve Books in July.
Before joining Insider, Dakin was a reporter at Bloomberg News. He has been interviewed about his reporting by other outlets such as the New York Times, NPR, Fortune, BBC Radio and iHeartRadio.
Dakin has degrees from Cornell and Columbia, and holds the CFA charter.
