Bharat Rudra is a Vice President at 123worx, an Ottawa based software company providing an innovative cloud-based construction management solution for the construction industry. Before that Bharat was a consulting partner at SkyQuest Technologies, a consulting company helping Canadian SMEs develop foreign markets. Bharat co-founded three start-ups and started and managed a consulting firm. Prior to this Bharat managed the India and Brazil funds at International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada (ISTPCanada), a non-profit corporation that provided funding for joint R&D partnerships between Canadian technology companies and their counterparts in India, China and Brazil. Prior to ISTPCanada, Bharat served as Senior Business Development Manager with the Ontario Centers of Excellence (OCE). Bharat has worked for several start-ups and multi-national companies in the software development. Bharat has shared his knowledge as a mentor with many fellow entrepreneurs, innovators and startups. Bharat is also a co-founder and charter member of the Ottawa chapter of The Indus Entrepreneur (TiE), where he served as a president for ten years and currently serving as a char of the board. A true giver, Bharat has spent 30+ years working on several multi-year initiatives to support the Ottawa community. This includes co-founding, Dhadkan, Ottawa’s Indo-Canadian community’s effort to raise over 10 million dollars over 10 year for the Ottawa Heart Institute.
